A few days ago I got an email from Kian’s preschool teacher saying that he was using his fingers as a gun and pointing them at his classmates…really not that surprising, he has been doing that at home. We have talked about it numerous times and I have no idea where he picked it up. Probably it’s just that he is a 4 year old boy and they seem to come genetically hardwired to play guns. So I talked to him again and asked him to not make finger guns at school.
The next day after school Kian said, “I didn’t shoot finger guns at anyone today mom!”
Good job, buddy. I answered.
Then he happily said, “I shooted lasers…that’s nice right?”
Geesh! I’ve resorted to telling him that pointing at anyone at all is not nice…Enjoyed this post? Consider sharing it with friends by clicking one of the buttons to the left.
