This is my favorite way to eat brownies! The mint is sweet and buttery and works perfectly with the chocolate. I think these would be a wonderful addition to a Holiday goodie plate. Perhaps made in mini muffin tins so they are bite size. They already look holiday-ish because of the green.

To make these, make the brownie mix according to package directions, bake and let cool. While the brownies are baking mix together:
5 TBSP Butter
3 TBSP milk
1 TBSP corn syrup
2 1/3 C. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp mint extract (I tested mine and ended up adding just a couple drops more. Be careful a few drops of mint extract go a long way).
Mix the above items until smooth then add:
1-2 drops green food coloring

Spread on top of cooled brownies. Put in fridge for about 30 minutes and then top with chocolate frosting or drizzle with melted chocolate chips.
