What's for Dinner

Summer Time Meals on A Budget

Summer means more salads and sandwiches in our house, and this one is a new favorite. I got the lettuce for .99 on sale, I had Ramen from a deal a while back that I got for free. I got chicken on sale at HyVee a few months ago at .70 cents a pound. I used probably about a pound of chicken. The Sesame seeds were another sale item .39 cents for a small spice jar of it. I didn’t have any almonds so I just left them out. We also had sliced apples and oranges. The whole meal probably cost around $3.

Here are a┬ácouple other meals we’ve had lately:

Along with some vegetable stir fry and rice. (Remember the crab I got for just $1 at Hen House back in May?)
